Hello, my name is Shilita and this is my first child. I'aja De'nay. It's A Girl is what the doctor said to me and brought happy tears to my eyes when they placed this little 4pd 11oz baby wrap up in a little bundle in my arms as she gave a little "wahhhh" and open her eyes. May 20 was this joyus day of this year. Shortly after my 7th month of being pregnant my little girl decided she wanted to me on the outside. My little princess was premature. After being born she spent her first 8 days under intensive care. She was sleeping in a incubator for her first 4 days. She was doing so well they took her out and put her in a regular basinett. They released me when she was 3 days old. I didnt want to leave my daughter there, so without a car, I caught the city bus every morning to the hospital and didnt leave til the last bus ran, which was at 2400hrs.
She finally came home with me on May 28 and I couldnt have been more happier for that. Recently I got the news from her doctor that she has been diagnose with Sickle C Hemoglobin disease. That broke me down in tears, until I just put it all in Gods hand. Even though she was premature and has a disease, my little girl is doing well. She is now 3 and 1/2 month old. She wiegh 12 pds 9oz and 21 7/8 inches long. She now talks to me, sings to me, laugh at me, and smile when I'm near. And everytime she waks up, she greets me with a strecth a yawn and a smile. I couldnt be more thankful then the next mother. She has brought me love peace and happiness to my life. I never realized how precious life is until now.

FEEDING TIME

As you can see, my little crum snatcher loves to eat. I remember when she was born she just ate half an oz, but now, she eats up to 9 ozs of formula and then drink some water after that. Recently I'va added cereal to her milk to so she can get full quicker, but she drinks that all up to. She eats so much now that I get tired of feeding her, but I enjoy it when I do. Now when I feed her, she looks up at me like " thats my momma and I know it" and I love looking into her her brown eyes anyway.

Hi everybody. Im I'aja De'nay and I am now almost 4 months old. My name that my Uncle Frank name me came from a Muslim book, it means " the most beautiful one". I like that name. I just want you guys to know that i appreciate you taking the time and checking out my webpage, cause I been desting for one since I was in my momma stomach. I love it here and I love my parent. She takes good care of me even though she doesnt have much. I know she has told you about the disease thing, I just want you and my momma to know that I will be fine. I'm surrounded around angels everyday and plus my momma. You take good care of me momma and you know you do, so there is nothing to worry about. Your strong and self-confident in yourself and I know that you will be for me too, and I know you will show me how to be strong and confident too. So all I'm saying is that I'm not worried so you shouldt be either. But to the people that are checking this page out, I could use your prayer for me and my mother.
